Chi — Restaurant in Maastricht

We took a chance on this place because their website boasts they are award winners. For an award winnar they sure droped the ball. We took the month menu 'B' with Bami. The Bami was bland. The egg dish was borderline burnt The beef and vegetable dish had a strange flavor we could not pin down. It wasn't off but tasted strange. The sate sauce was too thin and the chicken dry. The sweet and sour beef was ok....

I placed an order of Month menu B via Uber eat. I'm really surprised and happy with the order. The amount of food is really big. The menu is for 2 persons but I placed the order for myself. I think the food is enough for even 1 week. The taste is good, a bit sweet to me but that's ok. Overall, I think it's a nice try because you have a plenty of food at a reasonable price with varied dishes...

Ordered here for Chinese New Year, the duck was moist and flavorful, the fried chicken balls were crisp full of tender chicken breast meat, everything tasted excellent. They had forgotten our loempias at first, but after a quick call they sent them over and the service was excellent. Have ordered from here previously, and will again in the future....
