Exceptional tapas, fantastic ambiance, and great, attentive service! (We were served by a waiter who lived in Oklahoma when he was 18 - hi!). We had about a dozen different dishes, including dessert -- all very interesting and all super good. For some reason, a salad with sea vegetables got stuck in my mind -- so good!
The wine list deserves a special mention -- not just the wines themselves, which were excellent, but the very design of the list: it's rather a small box with cards, one card for each of the wines (including even the temperature at which the wine is served!). Read moreWe were lost looking outside when the restaurant we had intended to go to was closed. The Chef at La Presa graciously took us in even after he'd closed his kitchen. And what an amazing serendipity, I don't know that I've ever had better food! Simply amazing!! I loved every bite and the dessert was probably the best thing I've had in my life.
The restaurant does tapas style, small plates and you order several. So it doesn't have to be €50 like Google says..

Read moreCatching the last sunrays on the lovely terrace, we had a number of amazing international tapas with a bit of local touch (great fish). We started off with bruschetta with smoked eel, carpaccio and chorizo croquettes and continued with a round of BBQ ribs and a portion of delicious pulpo. Finished off with a best in class passion fruit cheesecake. We don’t like it...we love it! Thanks for a great evening, we will be coming back...
