The name lives up to its reputation! If you like slow service, this might be right up your alley! Snail like service for such small portions! Don't get me wrong, the food was great except for the chicken dishes (Slimy texture) and the little chocolate cake (undercooked and disgusting!) . It's definitely not worth the ten to fifteen minute wait between the dishes, and that's if the waitress notices that everyone is finished. It was more of "Okay, we are done with this small plate. When is the next one?" followed by awkwardly looking around to see if the waitress was paying attention to our table. As our celebration turned more into staring off into the abyss and small talk to fill the time in between these long waits. Mind you, it was not really packed when we came here. The waitress, I found to be unpleasant. Her demeanor in the way that I asked for some more food that I paid some sixty odd euros for my wife and I, at an "All you can eat" became such a unbearable task for her. Coming up with "Oh, it will be difficult to get you more food" and ignoring me at the table because I didn't order dessert with everyone else. I had to grab her attention just to ask for a dessert plate that was about six to nine euros. Then, I got a look of inconvenience and a stressed voice from her just because I wanted to pay more for another dish. Definitely didn't enjoy my time there outside my family gathering. Also, they had a weird rule that every couple of people had to order the same dish. So you are committed to eating the same thing that your partner chooses. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There is better "All you can eat" places to eat out there, then De Slak. You can go to Izumi and get five tiny plates of the one serving you get at De Slak per round. Plus, you get faster service than De Slak. You can even go to Atlantis and be better off. The real battle at De Slak was whether you want to stay there all day to satisfy your honger or just leave before you die of old age or sheer boredom?
