Restaurant Mira — Restaurant in Nijmegen

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and welcoming too. The food is really good especially the lamb . Minced lamb here is highly recommended and their chicken too. The steak and the regular grilled lamb wasn’t the beast though. The rice was good and the salad could have been better or had less beetroot.

The service was good. Pretty fancy getting served by three waiters, or maybe our meal was just that big. The toilets were clean too but with the freezing cold outside it’s a shame there wasn’t any warm water or a bit of heating down at the toilets.

We chose this restaurant while roaming around and saw that it had really good reviews. It's one of the best Turkish restaruant i've eaten (I have tried quite a few!). The waitress was really kind and the dishes were amazing! You could taste the freshness! My husband chose lamb and the meat was just falling off the bone, so soft and tender. I was craving authentic lentil soup, so headed to the first Turkish restaurant we found. The soup and “meze”s were quiet nice, I would definitely come back again. The atmosphere was cozy, too.

However, the waiter didn’t seem very happy apparently because we didn’t order any main dishes. It was a little off-putting when he repeatedly asked “No main dishes? U sure?” kind of questions. We wanted X, we ordered X. If we wanted Y and Z, we would have said so. :)
