Branding Beach Club — Restaurant in Noordwijk

We found this place on google maps while looking for some lunch. The whole experience here was amazing. I do recommend reservations if possible! We didn’t have one, but thankfully got there before the rush and got a seat until 2 (we got there around 12:30, so plenty of time). Everyone was very sweet, multiple food and drink runners so nothing took long at all once placing your order. We ordered more in drinks than food to try many. Paco’s Passion was absolutely delicious, as was the raspberry Dream, hot chocolate and chai latte, which you strain out the chai leaves. The food was also absolutely delicious. The steak sandwich was not what I was expecting at all, the steak was cold, but it tasted divine with all the flavors and so happy to try something new. My husband said the burger was really good as well. The loaded fries, chefs kiss I love anything truffle. After we finished eating, we paid and went to one of the seats more on the beach. Good food (had the mussels with curry)- coriander was missing, more bread would be good as there is lots of sauce and a wet towel)but not so good Service. Very unattentive Staff. It seems there is no senior Management around and rather bored looking Staff is more busy chit chatting to each other and checking their Phones than Serving guests, clearing tables and selling drinks. They even spilled Mayonnaise on my girlfriend and didnt care to apologize or offering cleaning or whatsoever. Instead they laughed at it. 3 tables got annoyed at one girl celebrating something with her mother, having a loud conversation over her speakerphone. Staffel didnt even flinch to say something. It is a very nice beach club and the food is nice. But the reasons I’m only giving it 3 stars are:

1. We made a reservation, yet still had to wait 15mins in line. Not very organised it seems.
2. A friend of mine asked for the avocado sandwich but in a veggie version (normally it comes with chicken bacon). She ended up getting a slice of toast topped with some avocado and 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce. It looked extremely poor, not even some extra avocado, or some tomatoes added instead. For me this shows lack of passion for food and lack of the need to make your customers feel valued. As an (ex)hospitality professional it pains me to see this.
