Tweede Thuis — Restaurant in Nuenen c.a.

First time visiting this restaurant and pleasantly surprised! The menu is not a long list of 50 different options, but instead offers a limited range of high quality dishes. Depending on your table you can see the chef's team in action behind the large glass panels.

The interior is cosy, although it can be a bit noisy, depending on neighbouring tables. Service was excellent and they catered really well to dietary restrictions.

Together with the starter they serve a little bread roll with butter. If we could chose we would prefer to have this before the starter as a little bite.

We'll definitely visit 'Tweede Thuis" again. Just make sure to have a reservation as walk-ins were not an option when...

Improvement points: Reserving a table is a bit of a hassle, you need to send an email or call them, instead of an online reservation system. Portion of main course (beef tenderloin seemed relatively little) Second time that they charge drinks which were not ordered. Service is very slow. We had to wait 1 hour to get the amuse.

I just had a visit from the owner/ manager. She was kind and respectful, she took the time to explain this restaurant employee people who struggle with employment.
