OK. I’m from New York. This is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Every year since this fine establishment opened in 2020, it is our first stop when returning to Aruba. Tonight my wife and I had the Margherita and the Burrata and Prosciutto Crudo. Without pretense or exaggeration, this was the most delicious thing I have eaten in a very long time, and easily in the top 3 things ever. The burrata was perfect. Light skin, and so creamy with just the slightest touch of sweetness. Once married with the perfect cuts of prosciutto and the expertly fired crust and savory sauce, that”s where the magic happens. After the first bite, I’m looking around, mumbling to myself, and looking at my wife with the ‘OMG’ look as if to say, “is this real?” My wife who was enjoying the delicious Margherita pie provided all the affirmation I needed once she tried it. We were lucky enough to get a chance to speak with the owners, Stephanie and David, who informed us that all of their ingredients arrived each Friday direct from Naples. Yeah. I know! The Burrata was handmade, again to perfection. Please excuse me for underselling the Margherita, btw. A perfect ricotta to sauce to basil ratio. Immensely flavorful with neither flavor overpowering the other. Back to the Burrata Prosciutto Crudo. After a few more moments, the flavors begin to settle in even more. The portions of ingredients were exactly what they needed to be. The uniform char lines on the bottom of the crust continued to seal the deal. The sweet and savory contrast of flavors on this pie were literally stunning. I implore you to make this pie part of your Aruban dining experience. To finish off this amazing meal, we ordered the Tiramisu to share. Wow. So creamy, light and deep with flavor. A perfect compliment and cap to a wonderful meal. I hope this modest review has done justice to the meal we had. Simple words cannot describe the experience adequately. Just get here. If you agree with my review even a little bit, please leave one of your own. Pizza Italia - Aruba is just the best, and it’s...
Read moreI am from New York and know good pizza when I have it. In all the years going to Aruba, I have tried almost every pizza place on the island and just had pizza from Pizza Italia for the first time. While the pizza was cooking I was talking to the employees who actually introduced themselves as the owners. I always say, a restaurant with the owners present is very important for many reasons but especially food quality. I asked a question about what brand mozzarella cheese they use and was told the cheese as well as the other ingredients are all imported from Italy. That also means a lot to the quality of the food. So I just finished a pepperoni pizza and all I have to say is, WOW!!! That seriously was the best pizza I ever had. Again, remember I’m from New York and know the difference between excellent quality tasting pizza compared to a pizza place serving pizza that tastes like frozen Ellio’s pizza, and there are plenty of them out there. This pizza was amazing. Once this place gets on TripAdvisor, they will be rated the number 1 pizza place in Aruba. This place is not in a touristy area on the island but most definitely worth going to for pizza. Tonight was the first time I was there and I will most definately be returning whenever I want pizza in...
