Ristorante Pizzeria Da Gigino — Restaurant in Pijnacker-Nootdorp

We had booked a table for both my husband and I and upon arrival we were just informed to sit by a table for 2.

We waited approximately 15 minutes to be told that there was no menus available and weren’t even asked whether we wanted anything to drink.

Eventually after 35 minutes we had a young lady taking our food order and we asked for water. We ordered bread as we wanted something before our starters and main dishes and asked for water. The young lady brought cutlery for myself but not my husband and we didn’t get water. The bread and olives arrived at the same time as our starter and yet no cutlery for hubby and no water. My hubby reminded her of our order for water and then he got a glass of water but nothing for me. Don’t understand why she or the restaurant didn’t just serve a jug of water.

Can’t fault the food as that was great but service definitely not great if anything I thought it was awful. One waiter was obsessed with his hair and at one stage all 3 of them was behind the counter chatting instead of seeing to the customers or even checking to see weather we wanted more drinks. Out of all the staff working there I will only compliment a younger and shorter staff member that was front of house as I noticed that he was more observant and seeing to some of the customers. I felt that it was a cold atmosphere unless of course you were a regular or friend then the service might of been better…

I suggest that Da Gigino concentrate on customer service specially at the restaurant as the customers there tend to spend more money than take away customers…

Overall the food was great but highly disappointed with customer service and for that I won’t rush back even though I live...

Very good pizzas and pastas! Great vegetarian options. Lots to pick from. The quality of the food is excellent. Been thrice and ordered a few times. Never been disappointed. It can get really hot inside the restaurant in the warm summer months. But sitting outside is pleasant. The staff is nice and friendly. But sometimes the service can be slow and sometimes the staff forgets to bring you things you specifically ask for like salt. But overall wonderful experience. Their eggplant Parmesan...

We come to Da Gigino Food and Family often, and it’s always a pleasure. After their recent renovation, the place looks even more stylish and beautiful while keeping its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The new decor really adds to the dining experience, but what we love most is that the food hasn’t changed—it’s still just as great as always.
