Worst restaurant to visit ever, i recommend everyone not to even consider visiting this place, went to roermond outlet and got recommendation for this restaurant, we were on holiday and from overseas, and we are asian by the way,definitely wasted our time to visit the restaurant, came for dinner, the place was not full, they have empty tables inside and outside, once we stepped in front of restaurant people are looking at us * a bit racist look i would say *no offense, once i came in, the server came to me and said "the table is fullybooked,sorry" i thought probally they have a lot reservation, my friend at the back told me the server didnt even see my eyes and could tell his racist *felt uncomfortable and angry too to be honest, wait until people treat them that way they might appreciate others later.

Then we went to other ribs place called the beren, goodfood,friendly service and better looking place for sure haha and once we finished our food ,we passed this restaurant and its empty hahahaha gotta be kidding me telling us to go away from the restaurant saying its fully booked when its not.

Honestly i rather not spend money and wasted my time here, good food can be found anywhere, but being arrogant and rude are unacceptable around the world. I travel to Roermond often for work and have been to this restaurant many times and always enjoyed their food. I’ve told my family about it many times as my daughter loves ribs. While visiting Roermond as part of a family trip through Europe for the holidays this year, we tried to go tonight but were turned away. While I understand there was no table for a party of 5 available, we were also told that we could not spilt up into a group of 3 and a group of 2 and were told that they would not allow us to order takeaway because they were too busy. We did not ask for two tables to be put together as I know they will not do this - they use the “against policy” reasoning that you see in several other reviews. They opened 10 minutes prior to our arrival and only 2 tables were full, one of which had already received their food. It was clear that we were not welcome. Wow, what a great surprise finding (more like ending up in one) a Texas style (but its own unique style) barbecue place in Netherlands... that's better than what I experienced in Texas, Salt Lick, for an example. I had the baby back rib and pork skewer combo. Flavors were not over powering (like Texas style) yet strong enough for one's satisfaction in well balanced manner. The meat itself on the baby back short ribs was really tender, melting in my mouth, and so flavorful that it would likely have been good without the sauce. The skewer was also equally good in analogous manner, though I liked the rib more. The salad and flavored fries were also quite good.
