Blond & Blond Remunj — Restaurant in Roermond

We came across this place on a rainy day when everything else around us was reserved, and what a find it was! The wood floor, old paintings, and antiques displayed around the single open room give a friendly welcoming feeling of being in a relative’s living room. The cozy tables also give it a very welcoming vibe where I enjoyed observing some locals meet up for a glass of beer and to discuss the topics of the day. The man and woman who waited on us could not have been any more pleasant; it felt like we had known them for years as they happily engaged in some adult banter and laughter.

The food was delicious (especially the onion soup) but the cherry on top, so to speak, was the vanilla ice cream topped with egg nogg liqueur and whipped cream which I had for desert along with an Americano coffee.

I highly recommend Blond on Blond for the food, the service, and the atmosphere, and am very much looking forward to eating their again and bringing family and friends there when they come to...
