We are very, very disappointed We came a long way from germany to enjoy some lebanese food after visiting the Roermond Outlet. We found this restaurant nearby and came immediately. After giving the waitress our order which were some starters and two main dishes we had to wait for our starter. After getting it and finishing it, we waited for more than one hour for the rest of the food, which unfortunately NEVER came!!!! We waited more than one hour, until the waiter came with the bill and seriously asked if we got all of our food, knowing that we only had two drinks and our starters but no main dishes, cause we were still waiting. When we told him that we only got our drinks and starters but not our main dishes, he was shocked and we were even more shocked when we realized that they really forgot the rest of our order while we were waiting so long. There are working so many people and there are only a few tables but still we had to wait so long and they even FORGOT our order. Very sad, because we were looking forward for the food and now we have to look for something to eat while driving all the way back to germany hungry.
Addition one year later, 11. July 2025:
Your reply is an absolute insult. You didn’t apologize once – not a single sentence acknowledging your failure. Instead, you thought it was appropriate to make jokes about sending our food on vacation while we sat there waiting for over an hour. That’s not just unprofessional – it’s arrogant, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.
You clearly don’t care about your customers or your own service standards. Your late, tone-deaf response just confirms that everything in your place arrives late – from the food to the fake “hospitality.”
I genuinely hope people don’t fall for this restaurant, because anyone who treats their guests this way and can’t even offer a basic apology doesn’t deserve business. Shameful. Embarrassing. And a perfect example of how NOT to run...
Read moreThe food at beginning was fast, however I have several comments:
1- Drinks was served warm
2- Batata harra barely have garlic and coriander so it's more like batata.
3- Falafel/Kebbe is not the Lebanese version maybe Egyptian/Syrian
4- Rkakat are filled with chicken only while normally the Lebanese version is Cheese
5- Was mentioned on menu that we get 7 mezze and 2 salad however we got 5 mezze and 2 small salad
6- Bread is considered mezze also which is wierd because bread is bread not mezze so technically 4 mezze was served
7- Filling of the osmalliye is a bit salty and it took 45 mins after we finished our main food to get the dessert and no one came to our table and we were constantly ignored.
8- it was mentioned on the menu that we get 3 main dishes for 2 people, the main dish is one mid size kafta skewer and 4 peices of chicken and rice per person so it's one small dish.
So how is it 3 main dish?
Overall won't recommend, especially that...
Read moreDisappointing experience! We ordered the Libanese Standard Night Vega for 100€ which should include 4 mezzes, 1 salad, 3 main courses and 1 dessert. What we received was 1x Humus, 1x Kjar b Laban (yogurt with cucumber), 1x Muhamarra (mix of tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers), 1x Falafel, 1x Batata Harras (fried potatoes), 1x Tabouleh, 1x Muhamarra (rice with lentils, fried onions), Lebanese bread, Tahini sauce and dessert. So, not only didn't we get proper main dishes as they substituted them with mezzes and a side dish, but we were also short of a dish. If you order the items on the menu separately you are much cheaper off. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. A truly disappointing dinner, we won't order...
