Wieck — Restaurant in Roermond

After reading all the good reviews I manage to go here tonight. Two starts are for the service which was efficient and courteous and the atmosphere. I ordered a 'Tex Mex' burger and loaded fries with pulled pork. I have no idea what they think 'loaded' means. It was fries, sauce and pepper rings and very little pieces of black meat that i guess (because the light was so dim at my table I couldn't properly see) was the 'pork'. It did not taste bad, but do not expect a dish with proper ratio and taste of any pork. The burger came 'alone' on a big plate with a scoop of a dip at the side. There was ONE tomato on top of the dip scoop as decoration. The burger was dry and not tasty at all (and i was damn hungry). You get exactly what is written on the menu, not an iota of anything else. Maybe a 'questionable' way of keeping the cost down? One star extra for the possibility that other things on the menu...

Please note i have no advantage capping in this comment, I'm just a tourist want to enjoy my vacation.

My experience was totally different from the comments... The place was half empty. Sadly, They took 50 min to give us ROW burger...

Honestly, they did replace the burger , so add 15 min more of delay.

The staff didn't show any professionalism dealing with this issue only just repeating the common phrases like ''enjoy your meal" or "we apologize" like a radio. This totally not helpful

Anyway i respect myself, but if were the owner, 50 min delay and uncoocked burger!!!? The burger would be free...

Probably worst service I've ever experienced. Made a reservation for 3 people at 8pm, but when we arrived at 8, all tables were taken. In the end, we had to wait 45 minutes at the bar before our 'reserved' table became free. In those 45 minutes at the bar, we were both verbally and non-verbally made very clear that we were actually sitting in the way of the staff. (To be clear, we were sitting exactly where we were asked to sit.) When we left the place after dinner, we were even charged for the 2 drinks we had during the 45 minutes that we waited. Food was ok,...
