I came here when my mom came to visit. And we were pleasently surprised by the warm and welcoming people working in this establishment. They very nicely explained to us the items on the menu we didnt know. They have amazing natural juices like passion fruit or lime but for the more cheeky people they have a huge list of cocktails that look like a party in a glass. Although the food may have taken a little bit to arrive it was worth it and the wait was not that heavy considering the extraordinary vibe this place had. Music to keep the mood bright and the smell of the delicious food being prepared. When the food arrived we were pleasently surprised by the presentation. Everything in this establishment is presented in an extraordinary way. And it tastes even better. The mofongo con chivo had a very succulent and juicy stewed meet, accompanied by the mofongo, which was very garliky (something i enjoy very much). The salmon on the grill was cooked to perfection, we decided to accompany it wity Moro (rice and beans and spices) which doesnt taste like the rice and beans i usually get, very bright refreshing seasonings. The tuna ceviche was very well made. And the salmon pico de gallo was delicious. And of course how can we miss the desserts? We tried the dulce de leche, which was super creamy. And the churros which my sister rated as the best ones she ever had, so I would say they were pretty damn good. Attended a birthday party here. Food was great, the drinks well mixed. The afterparty at this place was great. Music nonstop, which isn't bad, just damaging to the ears after several hours on end on maximum high even during the dinner. They transformed the restaurant into a lil disco soort according to my DA friends that's the Dominican style with chairs and high tables. Well I certainly danced my night away. My Spanish isn't language. Luckily one of my girlfriends could have translated the menu for me, because staff couldn't really explain. Menu everything is separate so you'll have to order rice or vegetables/ salade with your meat. Vegetaria on the menu is just salads or a vegetable to order with. As a vegetarian or Vegan i wouldn't recommend this place to dine unless you eat fish and use eggs. Cause there is eggwhites in some of the cocktails. The service really needs to be worked on especially during the dinner. And there were a bit of mix-ups with the orders. I couldn't even enjoy my order cause they took away the grill and all my vegetables with it i called it to the waitress but either she couldn't hear me cause of the music or she just ignored it. For the main course, I enjoyed the mofongo mix (chicken, pork, and shrimp), while my daughter had plantain mofongo with goat. The menu could benefit from more explanations, especially for those unfamiliar with mofongo. A brief introduction from the waiter would enhance the overall experience. The food had an impressive presentation, and the taste was satisfactory. If I return, it would be for the opportunity to experience Caribbean culture.
