I live on the campus of Erasmus University, I always saw this place when I took the tram home, what an amazing name and it made me actually go here. This was my first restaurant meal in Rotterdam. I ordered the most popular Roti which was the roti chicken thigh which came with potato, green beans, sweet and sour cucumber. I also got mine with a hardboiled egg. I've never had Suriname food so no baseline but I enjoyed the food.

Kleine zaak met enthousiast en vriendelijk personeel. Echte Rotterdammers die duidelijk trots zijn op hun stad. Er hangen overal foto's van Rotterdam en je kunt er zelfs een vlag kopen met het stadswapen. De roti zag er smakelijk uit. Ik ben zelf voor een rijstgerecht gegaan. Dat was ook prima, hoewel de rijst nog wat waterig was. De meeste mensen komen afhalen. Er staan 3 of 4 tafeltjes voor mensen die ter plekke hun roti willen eten.

This place is so awesome, it is super cheap and incredibly tasty. I got the roti vega roll and not only was it huge, it's good value at 5€. The inside was a combination of vegetables and the mix of spices provided a kick that complemented the rest of the filling to the perfect amount. I don't usually review stuff on Google but this one deserved it, they absolutely smashed...

Lovely place. Very friendly staff. My go-to place for take-away food. What I like most is that Rottiedam has 2 very tasty vegetarian/vegan options. Only downside would be is that Rottiedam sometimes runs out of food :-( (But this is because they only serve fresh food; all their food is prepared...
