We went for takeaway with a little scepsis: 100 reviews with an average rating of five stars. When we lived in Nashville, United States we grew quite fond of this type of cuisine, so we were curious whether this 5.0 star average would be justified. And it totally is. We kwamen toevallig bij Tanur terecht omdat dit restaurant het dichtst bij was toen we gingen zoeken, en dat was een heel gelukkig toeval. Buiten gegeten aan hoge tafels. Supervriendelijke bediening en ook de kok komt graag even uitleggen wat wat is. Wij hebben in het kader van 'doe maar wat lekkers' de Afgaanse rijsttafel besteld, en het was superlekker! Een basis van versierde rijst, met een soort mixed grill. We dachten 'Ha, lekker', maar daar begon het dus pas mee. Even later verschenen allemaal bakjes met lekkers: aardappel, spinazie, lam, kip een kalf. En on the side taziki en chutney. Mmmmmmm!...
