Tea Up Rotterdam Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Tried the watermelon jelly drink with matcha tea. It tasted sweet and refreshing with ice cubed inside as well. Now and then you will drink some watermelon seeds so do drink slowly to spit these out. Really like the sweet jellies and there were plenty, but unfortunately lack of watermelon pieces and taste. The green tea was overpowering the watermelon taste, maybe because lack of watermelon juice and watermelon pieces in the drink. Took the medium size, which was enough for me and the price was 5euro.

The sitting area was cutely decorated with stuffed animals from Japan and some big stuffed bubble tea from Taiwan. It looks very cozy and welcoming.

A pity that there is no visible menu or turned on menu screens, only possible to order with QR code at the till. After ordering it, you can wait while standing or seating before picking up your order.

From all the bubble tea places I have tried so far in Rotterdam, this place gives you the most ingredients and the drinks taste the best. Was also looking for the matcha ice cream, but they don’t have it. Hope to try...

Just very disappointing. Sweetness wasn't enough, but apparently sweetness has always been an issue if I see these other reviews. I mean. Overall, it's not awfully bad. It's ok, it's average. Just very disappointing to my standards. Wasted my money on a very average drink. Very anti climatic.

On top of all that, I've been scrolling through the owner's reaction to reviews and they're calling everyone 'negative', 'karen', 'sad life', 'stay away', 'write better English', 'all your reviews are negative'. Are you stalking individuals who give you one star?? Such embarrassing and uncouth behaviour for an actual business. I changed my review to 1 star. I'll definitely not be supporting a business owned by someone who can't handle bad reviews and has tantrums on the internet. I really hope the employees are treated well, if one behaves on the internet like a raging 12-year-old losing in fortnite, let alone how they'd behave in a private...

I've been coming here since they first opened and used to love this place a lot, visiting multiple times a week. But lately, the quality has really gone downhill. For the past few months, there’s almost always something off—whether it’s hard tapioca, poppings not available, or paying extra for a topping that’s either missing or not done right because it’s so crowded. In the beginning, there were several experienced staff members who made the drinks perfectly, but now I constantly see new faces, and you can really taste the difference.
