Verhage Blijdorp — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Normally very friendly service and good food. Summer 2025: rude service if you can even call it that - they get your order wrong, throw fries all over the (dirty) table and then put them back on the plate and expect you to eat them! They bring your drink in a broken glass and when you point it out, tell you to drink from the other side! Honestly, I live around here and this is by far the worst experience I had so far. I was with my kid, we had to wait ages for our replacement fries and it turned out they just forgot to bring them. When I asked to speak to the manager, got fobbed off by the very rude girl. Food is good but honestly, the owners should reconsider their hiring choices… Will...

I'm not fun of Dutch snackbars in general! Plus, that snackbar food i find overpriced en just bad with way too much bad frites. But.. This place made me happy.. Chicken buket, BBQ dip saus was "lekker" enough to share. Grilled chicken looks like it tastes👍 Price and amount ratio also thump up. Bonus thumb up is actually Coke in 0,33 size what is actually must with a meal. Shame there is no cold beer douhh But yet best is terasse and relaxed feeling with kids. We are gonna be back.. curious about...

Went there today and ordered chicken and fries or so I thought, the chicken was alright but the fries were still half frozen🤮 also the the cutlery they gave me had caked on food on it, obviously these people don’t take proper food handling seriously! Also upon waiting in line to order a mouse came running out of the kitchen, so I can only imagine the nastiness that’s contaminating the food.

I have filed a complaint about this place to the NVWA, because the owner doesn’t seem to care about health...
