Csalt Grill&Steakhouse — Restaurant in Sluis

Extremely long wait for drinks (30 minutes), followed by another long wait for the food. Some of the meals were not warm when served and not cooked as ordered (rare instead of medium meat). Fries arrived 5 minutes after the meat, sauces did not arrive at all. Wine order did not arrive and had to be ordered a second time. Servers did their best, but there were simply too many guests there for the number of waiters and kitchen staff. After our complaints, the manager took the missing items and cold meat off the bill, but blamed his servers instead of the bad overall organisation. Catastrophic experience, avoid...

We went there during the summer vacation in Cadzand Bad. The place is just a few months old, so we thought we would try it out. We were not expecting it to be anything more than the other competitors! This is where I stand corrected!

This place is the best place in the whole area to go to for authentic grilled sea food.

Food was good. The Turkish person was very friendly and made sure or little one was given with colour pencils and drawings. Very attentive. For the food we cannot complain, it was all well done. My meat was a bit undercooked but fine as well. Didn’t get sick of it, so it means meat was fresh. For the bill, i find it weird to ask extra for mayonnaise 1eu or ketchup 1,5eu with the fries, or the sauce that comes with the meat. On the contrary we were offered tea/coffee/schnaps...
