When we entered the restaurant, we encountered the first difficulties with this place, which I would describe as absurd. First of all, they had difficulty assigning us a table because we entered as a pair, and they didn't understand that two doesn't mean three. We had to explain that we were only two, and finally, they assigned us the table we wanted. Then we ordered a simple hamburger with fries and a beer. The beer was brought to us practically immediately, but the hamburger arrived after 57 minutes (that’s one hour man!), by which time the beer had gone warm and half was already drunk. Obviously, I couldn't order another beer since I had to drive and I didn’t want to face Police penalties. So, while waiting, I complained that the beer was now at room temperature. The only response the waitress gave was "If you want a free beer, you have to pay for it." To which I replied that I wasn't begging or asking for charity, I was simply complaining that the beer was warm by now and the food still hadn't arrived. While waiting, they first served a 6 people table that arrived almost 15 minutes after us. Also another couple who arrived a few minutes before us were skipped in line. Finally, after 57 minutes, the dish arrived at the table, and the hamburger was cold (one portion of fries was forgotten). I still ate my hamburger because I was too hungry and I would have had to wait another couple of hours before dinner. My wife's one was truly inedible, and she returned it telling it was cold: they jut took I back without saying whether they would have replaced or warmed it. They just took it back! Meanwhile, they forgot the fries we ordered, then they brought us two portions (wrongly, but they offered to give anyway without specifying whether it was as compensation or not). I refused, saying I wasn't interested in their fake charity. As there was no pleasure in being imprisoned in that absurd environment, we decided to leave and pay for what we ordered and consumed. So we got up, went to pay, complained about the whole incident, and the waitress almost aggressively approached my wife's face, saying, "I know what you want now." Then I lost my patience and I became aggressive myself: I summarized all their failures (I saw that also other guests were complaining), pointed out also that some sauces on the table were not good as they had expired three months ago or had the expiration label removed. Furthermore, I noticed that the “ kids” (young cooks) in the kitchen were working without gloves, hence in poor hygiene conditions, as well as the precarious hygiene condition caused by a cat roaming around wherever it wanted. We paid for the second hamburger and not for my wife’s one because, after all, we returned it. I paid almost €40 for an absurd service and we were almost verbally attacked as well. I'm sorry I had to lose my patience, but I swear I wanted to pour the beer over that impudent girl's head and call healthcare services. Please, no answers, no excuses, no legal arguments : this is not a conversation but the report of an unpleasant afternoon I had to spend in a restaurant which spoiled my mood for the...
Read moreKnowing it's the only standalone restaurant in the direct vicinity of a handful of cottages, our expectations were not high to start with. Even so, the experience fell far below them. The service is abysmal. It took 20 minutes for one of three waiters to even approach us and take the order although we - a party of three adults and three children - were the only guests at the time. Our order was completely mixed up so that we had to improvise by exchanging food, so that everyone could have something close to what they ordered. The burgers were obviously unfrozen and heated up (as expected), but the overall quality and composition was terrible: tasteless patties, dry buns, and sad salad leaves. My bacon was barely fried, not crispy, and soaked with oil. The chicken burger came raw and we had to request that it be cooked more. Cherry on a cake was a quick exchange with the waiter at the cashier. He asked if everything was ok. Of course I told him it was not, to which he answered "ok". That's it, just "ok". They don't really care if customers enjoy the experience. Long story short: not recommended under any circumstances. Avoid and eat...
Read moreTerrible service! We went for lunch, but after being served with drinks, we waited another 50 minutes and our lunch was still not arrived. There were many people arrived after us but were served before us. I believe those were customers who did the reservation and orders beforehand. We asked the staff twice how soon we will have our lunch, she repeated "just a moment". The third time we checked with the waitress she told us sorry today we are really busy! I understood that the restaurant can be busy for customers but if they are not able to serve us food, they should have told us earlier so we can choose another restaurant to eat. In the end we took off without eating anything and paid for our cokes. They simply said sorry and cancelled our order. I wonder if they even prepared what we have ordered. I felt terrible and I don't think anyone deserves that. We in the end rushed to the airport without eating anything. What if it happened to someone who is really hungry and in need of food, the restaurant demonstrated the worst...
