Pretty nice gastro pub! This pub middle of the downtown of Den Burg. The atmosphere of the outside seats is amazing. I can spend here all day long. Here can drink the local Texel beer what is delicious. Actually this bar is a tapas bar, most foods is small portions. We ate more kind of and all was LEKKER. The foods are delicious, fresh and made by quality gradients. The price are really friendly. Staffs are professional and friendly and kind. Sure we will come next time when we are on the island of Texel.

Geheimtipp! Von Aussen unscheinbar und einfach optisch. Aber dann! Drinnen Urig und tatsächlich sehr freundlicher Service!!! Wir hatten einen sehr netten und freundlichen jungen Mann, der uns gefühlt von der Straße rein geholt hat. Die Karte ist einfach und nach Tageszeit gestaffelt. Wir waren heute nach 17 Uhr hier und hatten direkt links neben dem Eingang einen runden 4rer Tisch mit echt sehr gemütlichen Stühlen. Heineken vom Fass 😀! Empfehlen können wir die Spareribs ( sind vom Knochen abgefallen beim angucken und zart rosa innen) mit frischen Pommes und Salat! Einfach der Wahnsinn und was für eine Portion!!! Des Weiteren hatten wir die Burgerplatte mit frischen Pommes und Salat. Auch hier alles sensationell und top zubereitet! Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist unfassbar gut! Zum Nachtisch gab's ne feine Creme Brulee. Auch top!!! Alles perfekt und darum haben wir auch gutes Trinkgeld gegeben! Wir sind die Tage auf jeden Fall wieder da und probieren andere Gerichte!

Nice place, cozy and dogs are welcome on the terrace. There are good working heaters so its not cold at all. Staff was super friendly so we left a good tip for them. Food and drinks were really nice. Only a little on the more expensive side and there is not that much to choose from for diner. Overall a nice place to be.

We (2 persons) went here, kind of by accident, on Saturday 8 April 2023. The very friendly and welcoming staff seemed surprisingly young. When on Texel, it is very much required to taste the famous lamb stew. So that’s what we did. And we had a local beer to go with it. Mans has its own draft brand. The stew came in a small enamel pot as an individual (sufficient) portion. And some fries and a salad to go with it. The lamb was really delicious! Regrettably the meat in the two portions wasn’t divided very equitably. In one of them there was almost no meat and a lot of...
