Cafeteria "Cleyne Reick" — Restaurant in Utrecht

Cleyne Reick’s is an amazing snackbar, and their food is “verrukkelijk”. However, today what I want to talk about is their customer service.

The first thing I want to say is WOW. My several friends and I ordered several things, one of which being a Vega Pita. Cleyne Reick’s made a mistake on our order—probably through miscommunication on my part/the phonecall I ordered from—and gave us a Pita with meat. It smelled delicious, but with a vegetarian eater, my friends and I decided to go back to Cleyne Reick’s and get our actual order. Once we explained our situation to the staff, they completely understood and promptly asked for our address, so that they could deliver a replacement order, for free. Already, this is great, but their kindness doesn’t end there: We both got to keep the meat pita we had accidentally ordered—which me and my non-vegetarian friends ate with gusto—when a deliverer from Cleyne Reick’s showed up at our doorstep with the Vega pita, and a 2-euro coin to compensate for our “troubles”. Stunning.

Jarenlang mijn favoriete snackbar geweest. Dit is enige wat ik mis sinds mijn verhuizing uit Utrecht. Namelijk patat en een sate kroket. Ik kan me nog die mooie zondagen herinneren, vrienden over de vloer en patat van Cleyne Reick, vrienden uit het hele land kennen inmiddels deze snackbar. Kortom als ik in utrecht ben en ik heb honger doe ik deze 'tent' vaak aan. Ga zo...
