The Thai Orchid — Restaurant in Utrecht

I had a horrible meal courtesy of Thai Orchid 5 months ago. It was so bad, 5 months later I'm still angry.

I was triggered today while visiting another slightly less bad restaurant today, and it brought the terrible memories of Thai orchid flooding back. The high prices, false advertising, and lack of taste color, or texture of their Pad Thai- Thailand's signature dish.

Terrible customer service. Ordered food from them, which was badly packed with most of the curry spilled in the plastic bag. Even the delivery boy said that it was badly packed and spilled. We called the restaurant and even sent them a picture of how much food had spilled. They were rude, accused us of spilled the food and refused to do anything about it. Unbelievably bad. Trying hard to find to words to describe how bad it was.

I ordered the chicken green curry, they should have called it the paprika, bamboo green water colour instead though. There was barely any chicken in it, full of paprika (who puts paprika in green curry anyway?)and bamboo.
