Grand Café Zuijdt — Restaurant in Zwolle

Been here several times for lunch, dinner as well as just a few drinks. Service is friendly, usually quick (though sometime you'll have to make a bit of effort to get someone's attention :-/ ) and polite. The lunch and dinner menus are varied without being too extensive or complicated which is a plus, atmosphere was nice often with some 70s and 80s pop and rock songs playing in the background, not too loud. This restaurant is a bit hidden, but it exuded a warm welcome on a cold January evening. The visit did not disappoint.

Tonight I had a wonderful chicken sateh dinner and my family had an Angus beef steak. The meals were hot and delicious.

They are known for an extensive beer menu. I had a Brugge's Zot beer from the tap, but many other choices were considered tonight.

Too much waiting time. To order and to eat. Even on days with not many customers. Waiters should be quicker noticing new customers sitting down, plus they need better training. Many times, they forget to bring all the menus. Which are four..... Why not expand your menu, fixing new ones, showing customers all the variety of food and drinks served? Apart from this the food is ok .. Not all dishes, but some are good...
