Brothers Kebab — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

The food from this place is so bad they have managed to run 2 shops from the same place on uber and both have 3.6 ratings even at that I reckon half the reviews are from them. If i could give a minus I would. After a late night I decided to give them a go again. Hadn't tried since they opened and had a rubbish experience then as well. Ordered and it said 1245 to 1 latest delivery, got my food at 1.43. You could kill the chicken pluck it cook it faster. Im a 5 min max drive only 4 streets away, by time I got the food the oil had torn thru the box and the paper bag and basically fell out the bottom. See pics. Chips were warm and were definitely reheated. Drum was warm, thigh was definitely just cooked as it was real hot but it was saturated in oil. The kebab was so pathetic is was literally the same length of a drum stick. The only reason it was wider was because it was a normal size kebab wrap so was more bread the meat and vege. I got sweet chilli sauce and in comments asked for a little bit of sweet chilli not much at all and sweet chilli was the only thing you could taste it was drowned it in. People like this need to be shut down 700 plus reviews and a 3.5 on uber shows how many people are...

Disappointing Experience.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with Brothers Kebab in Ōtara was incredibly disappointing. I placed a $70 order expecting a decent family meal, but instead received:

The wrong 1.5L drink Missing items from our kebabs Chicken bites that were overly salty Butter chicken that was watery, tasteless, and completely inedible. Had high hopes for this meal but upon tasting it was completely ruined.

Unfortunately, most of the food ended up being thrown out. It genuinely felt like a waste of money. Quality control and attention to detail were clearly lacking on this occasion. I’d suggest checking your orders properly before sending them out especially when customers are spending this much.

Really hope the team takes this feedback on board and improves, because this experience was a letdown.

Definitely not worth my money. Heard it was a hit n miss 50/50 spot so tried it out a couple time and sure enough Drew my last straw purchasing from there. Rudely staff on two occasions when asking about my missing chips. Then told me wait 10min. This made my Chicken strips no as hot anymore.

The wraps I ordered on first visit wasn't too bad but did lack sauce. Second visit the wraps had dry and some bits of crispy dried lamb meat in it, they fully stacked it with Lettuce making it seem like lack of meat. Bottom half was basically empty because I unwrapped it to see and when confronted they called their boss then told me they can make new one. I said no it's fine I was just letting you know it was unpleasant having half side of it just Lettuce and no meat. He asked did I push it to one side. Bruh.

Anyway food here wasn't the best for me and not woth paying their prices for low inconsistent...
