Eastside Cafe — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Lovely cafe to work at while I was waiting for my car to get it's WOF. Really friendly staff and they have some power sockets to plug in. Nice and quiet and a lot of space. I enjoyed my drinks (coffee and chai latte), but found the food I ordered was pretty standard (blueberry muffin and corn fritters). Have you ever wished after you have eaten something that you hadn't made that choice. Sadly this was the case today. Although it looked good and there were more well cooked chips than I could possibly eat. The burger was however a let down with the bun itself not exactly stale but certainly more than a day old. Arrived at 1.30pm with a friend. I ordered the Filo with mushroom and chicken was 😥. Filo wasn't crunchy was all intact together, sauce In chicken yuck! Wouldn't get this item again. Mango lassi wasn't a lassi it was a syrup with milk. Yuck. Mango lassi iv had at Paradise Indian restaurant is the best so I expect to much when ordering lassi.. I wouldn't order this...
