Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Just recently Googled for pizza place and this pizza place popped up on google with 4.8 star rating it was my first time so i went ahead and placed an order for pizza on July 10th 2025. everything went well with placing the order, got an email confirmation as expected but to my disappointment, it never got delivered, and when I called them up, all they said to me was they never received my order and the person I talked to on the phone didn't had access to admin level login to get more information about my order. I got really frustrated and embarrassed as I was planning to share this meal with friends. the person on the phone went on to saying that he was the only person in the store which from my perspective is a major health and safety risk being the only person in store. To my utmost disappointment, they didn't got in touch with me until I had to call them back to sort out my refund. would've at least expected them to act swiftly and as a kind gesture offer some sort of discount. Still waiting for my refund to come through. Sorry pizza inn ormiston, the pizza menu looks great but the customer service I got from pizza inn ormiston was very very poor. Don't think I'll be ordering any pizza from here no more. A very bad first...

Update 21/07/24 - Order Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Mac and Cheese and Pepperoni Twisters. I was the only customer, turned up at 12:30pm and had to wait 35 mins for my order which is a ridiculous amount anount of time to wait for pizza. Buffalo chicken is ok, reminds me of Pizza Huts old one. Mac and Cheese is average, the herbs on top ruin the flavour for me. Pepperoni Twisters are 100% not worth $10 for two, so small, not much cheese and flavour inside isnt great. Prob wont be going back again after that long wait time when im the only customer, cant imagine how long the wait time is with other customers

Both taste really good. The pizza taste creamy and flavourful and has a good amount of ingredients on it.

The pasta also tasted good, a little too much herbs though, maybe half of the amount of herbs would be better. Just need it a bit more creamy and then it...

The fries were too salty, the large Meaty Max was a pepperoni pizza, there was barely any beef or bacon and it was overpowered by the BBQ sauce. The Butter Chicken pizza was just chicken with tomatoes & cheese, and a spice I can't remember ever tasting in a butter chicken, so not bad just weird and not a butter chicken! The buffalo wings should have come out with your cream, chicken salt on the fries were pretty heavy handed. Great presentation, nice staff, clean premises, not alot of parking. Food needs improvement, pizza should come out hot and flavourful, we got warmish with lots of BBQ sauce, chicken salt and a weird spice. I think Pizza Hut and Dominoes are leagues...
