Came in for dinner around 6pm. When we arrived, the man at the counter didn't greet us. Instead he went to the back and came we waited 5mins to be acknowledged and then seated. No Hello, welcome to .. Just table for 3? Yes please. Customer service: 0/5 When ordering, I asked if I could have a side of yum yum sauce. He said no, Which is fine. But the way he said no, was rude. He frowned and growled and if I want yum yum sauce u had to order the prawns. But I don't eat seafood🤷🏾‍♀️ On top of that he was rushing us. Food: 2/5 Qyoza dumplings were very bland. And not filled properly. Tasted store bought. My main I got the katsu chicken, which was also very bland. And also tasted like a frozen fillet u get from the supermarket. The Katsu dipping sauce tasted like some sort of sauce you would get with Chicken nuggets from McDonalds. We also got the Teriyaki chicken hot plate. Sauce was nice. And the Steak Hot plate. Steak was cooked medium. Which was perfect. It was the customer service by the older gentleman that ruined our experience here. The food needs improvements as well. My advice would be to keep the food to traditional Japanese style food and not to change to suit western food standards. If I wanted reheated frozen food I would of went to McDonalds or any other fast food restaurants and paid half the price. I hope you read this and see where you can improve. I definitely would not recommend this place to my friends or family. And I will never back.

Been here many times over the last decade. Quality has always been good, price is not too bad. Had the spicy pork bento today, which tasted very good. Only thing I didnt quite like was the dumplings, which is just a steamed dumpling probably from a Korean mart. If they fried it a bit, either pan or airfry, it would be a bit better. Since this place is Korean owned Japanese restaurant, it is kind of a fusion between the cuisine. Had lunch 3 months later, the quality and quantity have fallen a lot. We didn't even get wasabi with the sushi. I think cutting cost is fair if quality remains the same. I was still hungry after $20 meal.

I would give no star if possible. Waited for 30mins for a tiny bento set with a yellowish "fresh salad", small portion, food was luke warm. As of the photo, only salmon and deep fried fish require more time to cook others are precooked. Funny that table next to us, came in 5 mins and food served already. Speak same language as the owner (wonder why?) NO NEXT TIME FOR SURE.

The owner is extremely rude pushing me either leave or quickly ordering by saying ‘this is Japanese restaurant and we don’t have hamburger’. I asked waitress if they have Japanese hamburger steak, which is a Japanese style dish, and they don’t have it there that’s fine, might be my mistake of Google searching of this restaurant. Then I have to order something else non-deep frying because I cannot eat deep fried food at the moment. The photo menu is not that clear so I have to spend time checking with the waitress whether certain dish contains deep fried food or not and all of sudden the owner approached me said above. When I paid the bill the owner did not smile at me at all. Apart from the owner everyone else is friendly. Lunch set is average quality, not decent size, taste is so so. For the money spent, I would not recommended. There are much better choice than this restaurant within the same area. I’ve never seen any restaurant owner in Auckland with this attitude which is...

We went to Mui on a Tuesday night and were very gladly to see a tastefully decorated cozy restaurant that was half full. We placed order (drinks, main and side ) and waited. The children's drinks came within 5 minutes and the adult's sake came in 10 minutes. We waited while playing a word game full of anticipation. The table came after us got served after we had been waited for something like half an hour. I stopped a waitress to ask for why, was told that either you wait for another 5 to 10 minutes or ...... (you don't have to wait.) Another 5 minutes later, our dishes were served. I couldn't understand why, so I asked what happened. The sweet girl told me that the order was neglected by the kitchen. AND THEY DON'T BOTHER TO SHOW A BIT APOLOGY! This is my first and last visit - I am sure they are confident enought not to give a damn of one...
