Jack Dusty's Ale House — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Today we went out for a meal for my nanas birthday. Food was average, burger buns not toasted and there was a surplus of mustard in my burger which was very unpleasant, the only thing tangier than my burger was the service. I had asked the manager if he could put on ufc “ he made it look as if I was asking him to personally fight in the cage? He changed the Channel back to something NOBODY was watching about 3 minutes after I had asked him. Surplus of staff standing around watching the world pass whilst I sat here very upset and angry. Manager didn’t come over and offer anymore drinks or check up on us throughout our meal. We will not be back and will be telling all that will listen to avoid this place! Attentive friendly service! Lovely ladies we..we had a big group they were very quick with our meals I had the nachos, yummy but I couldn't finish as it was huge which isn't a bad thing thing! before mine arrived my friend saw the size of mine when it arrived and quickly ordered the nachos. We came here as a group of four adults and two 1yr olds. I asked first if it was ok that we brought the kids in, and the staff behind the bar were very welcoming. There was an older guy at the end of the bar (assuming the owner) who was extremely rude and it was clear the kids are certainly not welcome. So if you are wanting to come as a family, don't.
