McDonald's Te Ngae — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Order number 114. Date 4/6/2018. Time 14:20:15 I order for 2 Mac chicken with shakes for myself and my wife. Our 3 year old was sleeping in car who loves kids happy meal who’s favourite things are nuggets or fish burger , chips, toy, apple black currant juice. So all fine up to ordering meal. I was waiting for food till time my friend who is couple finished their meal. When my friend asked for replacing cold fries, lady server had given cold look like she is doing favour on us.I was fine with it. I collected my meal and really not bothered checking meal. Lady who packed our meal had such bad attitude. She just dumped all meal on tray and I collected n we left place.... the juice was missed in happy meal . After half n hour when my kid woke up in car and asked for juice, no juice inside box or rather she was least bother to serve. Before my order also I saw , kids left counter and then the staff waiting for 3 juice bottles to serve. Board is showing my order is ready but m waiting. Are you serious, these kids serving at mcd have lil seriousness or attitude to serve people. It’s not about juice or few dollar. You ruined my experience of holiday when it was surprise for my kid on that drive. Or you treat us like you serving a free meal. Common please pull up your game and stop judging ppl with faces. Don’t want to mention but someone might traveled world and standing there next you. Don’t work to fill up hour but try to create experience for ppl walking through door. My lady server in black jacket have some decency to treat ppl with respect. I was watching on counter is like complete kids game , lack of co ordination . Don’t wonder such bad reviews on google and no one till bothered to reply manager or owner....

Lets get the "good" out of the way as itll be quick. The workers and manager all seemed to be laughing and having a good time. Its great to see people having fun while they work and to me, thats very important.. AS LONG AS THERE IS ACTUALLY WORK HAPPENING. Moving on...

Absolutely disgusting restaurant on the inside. Fries all over the floor in the eating areas and trash/sauce left all over tables. Understandable if the establishment is busy and teaming with customers. But including me and my partner, there was a total of 5 people inside at a quiet time for the drive thru as well. It even looked like someone had started cleaning and then stopped before making any real effort and never returned to finish the job. Maybe due to a rush in customers but that definitely wasnt the case while we were there to say the least. Also rubbish and lids/empty cups scattered across the kitchen floor were visible too which doesnt look good for cleanliness and hygiene in a restaurant.

Food was also unfortunately a bit of a joke. The extras that were ordered were not put onto the food. The boxes that the food came in were also broken and had the food sauces spilling out of them all over the contents of the bag and looked assembled by a blind man.

Truly a shame to have to post this but the 3 star overall rating before mine really...

That female manager in the mornings. All the personality of a soggy brick. Glad my coffee is black. She'd sour the milk. I equals profit. Staff are an overhead. Staff here would do well to remember that.

No wonder this place has bad reviews. Attitude of dark haired customer rep,, assume Manager at 5.30am needs addressing. Very off hand. Obvious disdain for customers.

I must say, traveling the country as I do, I reckon I've stopped at most mc Donald's over the last few years, whangarei to invercargil, I have never had such a negative interaction as I've had at this one.

I will take this to corporate head office as I believe, when I spend my hard earned money on a breakfast to begin my day, I don't need a high...
