Of the 13 tables indoors on arrival on the 11/06/2021, 6 were occupied an seven were unoccupied. All unoccupied tables had the dirty dishes from previous guests still languishing on them. As new guests arrived they (the paying customer) would either move the dishes to a table already cluttered with the dirty dishes of the guest prior, or the waitress removed; otherwise dirty dishes were NOT collected ... at all, no table was wiped down either. We decided that we were not going to risk the food as standards are clearly not a thing. The coffee when it arrived was cold and not very nice, Robert Harris makes a way better cup of coffee and is clean. I won't be returning.
UPDATE: I did return in 2023 (yeah, long overdue I know, it is now Jan. 2024) and many a time thereafter throughout the year, and I'm glad that I did. The shop is clean and well maintained and the dishes are bussed as soon as customers leave, the staff are courteous and friendly, the coffee and food is excellent. If I were asked today which coffee shop I would prefer to got to, this one will be it.
WELL DONE...
Read moreMe and my family are Coffee Culture addict. We also visit the Lincoln Coffee Culture quite often. On a Saturday noon, we visited the Lincoln Coffee Culture and was really disappointed to see that the standard is below the average mark. We had asked for english breakfast tea which is one of the best tea on Christchurch since Coffee Culture introduced a unique branding of a real good quality tea leaves served in decent looking crockeries with a timer in the tray. Today, we were served in the tea pot, the cup and the saucers - all were of different colours and without the timer and the tea was of a different aroma. It was utterly disappointing. I am sure that this is against all norms of Coffee Culture work ethics. I believe, as a franchise, the standard and the basic ethics must be followed in all Coffee Culture outlets uniformly and the basic decency of serving in the same colour set of crockeries are a matter of customer's minimum expectation. The management needs to...

The coffee of course great and the food just as good, but it's the extra's that make this place and we all know how much a little extra love can make the biggest difference to someones day.
It's the cheerful smile and greetings given to customers as they enter through the door, the genuine how's your day been so far or i hope you have a great day. It's the time i broke down in tears in store and the staff put in the effort to see if i was okay, speak kindness over me. It's those moments that make this coffee shop not just a coffee shop with great food and coffee but a place you come with your loved ones, laugh, cry, go over old memories and create new memories, flick through mags alone or just watch your little ones grow from fluffys to hot choc's.
Coffee culture more than just coffee, it's the moments...
