The Kingfisher Lincoln — Restaurant in Canterbury

After having being customers of "the curry pot" for many years, was bitterly disappointed with our most recent visit. Ordered my usual chicken vindaloo hot (was ordered as kiwi hot) and was well under spiced, okish but not that zing that you would expect from a vindaloo.

The dish was far too much sauce, not enough meat (barely 100g of chicken I'd think, probably less) and to me it also tasted like a generic curry sauce, far too heavy on the tomato with not much other flavour coming through at all. Vindaloo should have a distinctive flavour, this just didn't.

The rice was bland, tasting almost watery.

So they messed up my order few weeks ago. Upon calling they said they can exchange it but I couldn’t go back as it’s little away from where I stay. They said they will give me a complimentary order whenever next time I place order. So I placed an order told the guy about incident and he took my order, when I went to pick that up the guy on counter denied and said as management is changed we can’t give u this order as complementary as he has no idea about this and if I still want to buy this order. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a lovely dining experience at Kingfisher Restaurant in Lincoln with our family. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, each dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. But what truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the owners. While we were enjoying our dinner, the owner’s wife kindly looked after my sister’s kids, which gave us a rare moment to relax and enjoy the evening.
