Country Oven Bakery and Cafe — Restaurant in Canterbury

Terrible! I've had terrible coffee from here before (even had the lady argue with me while placing an order, saying there's no difference between a flat white and a latte.). Occasionally the pies are ok. However this time I got a "custard" square and it was inedible. I took a bite and my mouth filled with this gross liquid. It was eggy and rubbery and full of this weird egg juice. I have messaged them on Facebook (I can't call them and don't want to go back in person) but no reply. This was the most disgusting cafe experience...

Visited on a Saturday morning, no one there, was that a sign of quality? We went in, others followed as we waited to be served. My group had mixed views, cheese and onion sandwiches were fresh and tangy, chicken roll was tasty, sausage and mini savouries were good. Peppered Steak pie was considered dry. Drink were good, mocha, flat white and americano. Lemon muffin was excellent.

Toilets could be cleaner but no smells, service was ok, young lad at the front could do with a friendlier approach.
