All ways stopped here when passing Temuka. Was a great place for a good lunch at good prices .Stopped there on 26/1/2023 for lunch again new owners. Meals way to big for lunch menu and now unaffordable for lunch meals The old owners had mixed grill that was filling for lunch at about $18.00 . The wife had what she normally got plus a beer each use to be $48.00 for lunch now $96.00 .Very big meals but not a lunchtime meal .Won't be back .PLEASE note when we use to go there under old owners was all ways busy this time just us and one other person so maybe won't last long long Note to the owners reduced meal sizes and price would attract more lunch...

What a disaster of a place ,we stopped off for some food and it was a experience we will never forget ,ordered a drink and asked for menu, order taken but about 45 minutes later our waitress came back to say the steak I ordered was not what was on menu and was quite small but would reduce meal price if I agreed to takin it so I agreed another 20 minutes passed before we got any food and it was deplorable, steak was tiny and tough and hidden by fries ,the steak snitchel could have made shoe leather soles it was so tough ,definitely would not recommend this place for food and advice readers to...

In town for a few days and on last night met friends for tea there. Have been once before for lunch and found both meals very enjoyable. Good banter with the waitress serving us and as we were the only ones having meals at the time meals came out promptly. One of the group had fish and chips, one had pasta of the day and the other had chicken and bacon waffles and we all ended the meal with an ice cream sundae. All meals were delicious and we passed on compliments to the chef. Would definitely go again for...
