Bollyfood, Indian takeaway — Restaurant in Christchurch

I have purchased take out meals from Bolly Food 3 times, the latest visit being yesterday. Each time the food served has been superb. The Chicken Jalfrezi dish alone is worth a visit here- I asked for mild and that is what I got BUT it is also beautifully balanced in flavours with generous portions of chicken and lovely vege. We got a medium Lamb Korma & that is a hotter dish with nice spices & a good serving of tender lamb. Yum. Best of all though is their naan- just wow! My kids said 'dad is that just one naan?'- it was massive and tasty. Prompt, friendly service & very reasonably priced. One of best places to order or take a way. I ordered food and it was super delicious. They takes little bit of time because they don’t keep most of the food and items on the freezer and just heat them and give them to the customers like other restaurants. They cook fresh and give you larger portions and cheaper prices compared to other places. I personally recommend to buy or order food from here if you really want to eat fresh . We thought we'd try this place out on Uber Eats because it had good reviews. Overall - A really disappointing experience! The restaurant forgot half our order so I rang to advise and they told us they couldn't get the food to us. So I asked for a refund but was told they were very busy with customers so they couldn't process it right away. Really rude and the food we did get was so bland - the chicken korma and rice tasted like watery nothing.
