This evening my mother and I had an extraordinarily exceptional dinner at Crazy Horse This enchanting establishment, charmingly nestled alongside a secretly hidden delightful flowing stream is a Thai eatery you must tick of your foodie bucket list. We are devout Thai gourmands and any aficionado of food from Siam would surely concur that this joint is up there with the best. In spite of its adjacency to other thriving businesses in the bustling Shirley Plaza a little patience will reward you with a car park. Although the outside of this Eden of eats looks clandestinely and sinfully forbidden you will be rewarded once you pull open the doors to this temple. Their moorish and obscure tones continue as you slide yourself in ever further but these hues seem for softer and subtler to the senses. Our waiter, whose name I ruefully forgot to acquire, gently allured us to the table of our desires while suggesting entrees and mains that would later send our taste buds to the celestial ceiling. While not very Thai, we ordered two lattes which went beyond our expectations with their rich aromas, body and...
Read moreMy wife and I have been coming to this restaurant most Sundays for the past 5 or 6 years. The food has always been excellent - fresh and very tasty. However, since the change in ownership, the weekend food quality has deteriorated significantly. I had Garlic chicken today. It was dry and bland. The chicken was obviously pre-cooked and was battered. There was no sauce. The whole thing was the worst meal I’ve had here in 6 years. My wife had the HAMMERSLEY salad. It was definitely tastier, but again it contained pre-cooked battered chicken and prawns. While the salad was tasty, dry and tasteless was the verdict on the chicken and prawns. The previous owners always served the salad with fresh prawns and succulent, unbattered fresh chicken. For both dishes, the chicken tasted old as well as dry. I am extremely disappointed that the standard of food has not been kept up. The food has moved from 5 stars to 2. Not good. We will skip next week and then give it one more try the following week. If the standard is still this low, we will not...
Read moreWe had such an amazing night at Crazy Horse Hammersley on Thursday night.
The food was delicious. We had the dancing prawns (the prawns were succulent and the dish was very flavourful), the lamb shank massaman (the lamb was falling off the bone and the curry was so tasty, great for dipping the roti into), and the coconut prawns (again, succulent prawns and very tasty).
We went on a night where they had a live jazz band. The music was great and the band was so good at interacting with the customers and taking song requests.
The service was awesome. Very friendly staff who were eager to please.
The vibe of the restaurant was warm and inviting. It has such a great atmosphere.
Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely be returning. Highly...
