Update - 9 August 2020
I tried Ferry Indians restaurant again and this time, they definitely changed my opinion about their food.
I ordered :
Dal Makhni Kadhai Paneer Raita Butter naan Tandoori roti
I have to say that everything tasted like perfection.
It’s amazing to see that these guys take their google reviews seriously and also take action to rectify it unlike many other restaurants.
Kudos to Ferry Indians 😊

I’ve always had a good experience with this restaurant but this time the food was really below average. I ordered chicken tikka masala, butter naan and Soya Chaap platter.
I have been eating soya chaap since my childhood and unfortunately this was the worst one I’ve ever had. It literally was bad, both in taste and texture.
Also, Chicken Tikka Masala was just good enough to be edible. Best thing about the order was actually Butter Naan.
In a nutshell, really disappointed this time.
P.S - The staff is really welcoming...

Firstly they asked me to wait for 20 minutes but i had to wait for 35 minutes. Ridiculous! I asked not to add any green coriander garnishing as i am allergic to it but nobody cared.Butter chicken was almost like a dessert. I understand that it has to have a creamy and sweet taste but surely not as sweet as a dessert. Coming to your naan bread- please tell your chef that there is a very big difference between a naan and a bhatura. Naan is not supposed to be as fluffy as a bhatura. The only thing we could eat was kadahi paneer(highly recommended to try atleast once), but everything else looked like we have wasted our money. Chilly chicken was not cooked like it is supposed to be.

Read moreOn a visit to Christchurch, this place was recommended by a colleague and it didn't disappoint. A small coy place located on the main street itself. Appears to be popular among locals, due to the number of delivery orders. Small restaurant with sitting for about 15-20 people. Parking is on the side. The service is super fast, friendly and professional. My order was Hariyali Jinga(Prawns in spinach gravy) with Laccha Parantha, rice comes complimentary. Food was hot, tasty and adequately spiced. The Laccha parantha was very good. The prices don't rip off your pocket. My only suggestion is to perhaps increase the quantity of prawns. Recommended. I would love to...
