HELL Pizza Hornby — Restaurant in Christchurch

Went to pick up an UBER last night and the Asian staff members looked a bit confused. After about 5 minutes of waiting they informed me they “may have given it to another driver” but weren’t sure? How can you not be sure? They also informed that they were trying to ring the customer to see if she got her pizza because ringing UBER support was difficult? How difficult is it to click on UBER support and click ring? Overall I felt the Asian staff members were uncaring about a mistake they had clearly made. They obviously didn’t want to contact UBER so they could still get paid for the order as it had already left to who knows where. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I never saw them once pick up the phone. The Asian lady comes over to me and told me to cancel it because she is not sure what happened to that order? And that UBER has to refund the customer so just cancel it. By far the most unprofessional and unorganized establishment I have ever picked up a pizza from. I doubt the customer was ever contacted and I doubt they ever got their pizza. If you misplace an order you should communicate to the customer, apologize and remake it. Also, the Asian staff members need to learn how to call UBER support I call them on a weekly basis, as I did last night to communicate about this order, it is not that difficult. We've had to stop buying Hell's whenever we want because of the rising cost of living. We wait until there is a deal. Needless to say, I've been waiting a while for this special to get my Hell's fix. I have tried different branches, but I appreciate that the Hornby branch let me know there was a dairy pizza in my otherwise plant-based order (was for my partner). 6 Dec 2023 I regularly go to Hells Pizza Hornby to pick up a lamb shank, with mashed potatoes and peas for my daughter and myself about lunchtime. I phone order and pick up within 15 minutes, which is so convenient. $17 each. Because it goes through the ovens twice, the meal is extremely hot when you collect it and stays that way for a long time, due to the fact that it is cooked in a tinfoil tray. For those that don't cook much, this is a quick option for lamb...
