We live only a minute away, have several times recently ordered takeaways (order on line) - yet to experience the full sit down meal experience. We've ordered the Malaysian Satay (main) & Pork Spare Ribs (Entree) several times - both very delicious, and plenty for 2 people. Last time we ordered the Korean Fried Chicken (looked very nice, but was very bland and dry). You do need to order (separately) rice if required. It's quite an expensive takeaway meal, but has generally been very nice food. Mains are larger enough for a couple (but not if you've got 2 very hungry guys for instance). The best thing is that we order online, the final order says "ready to collect in 20 minutes", but their service is very quick, and each time I've found orders ready to collect within 10 minutes (even when they're really busy). I'd definitely recommend, as a really good quality, local restaurant, and needs locals to support it on a daily basis to ensure its survival. The service has been very good each time I've been there, very friendly staff, and they know exactly what you've ordered when you say you booked online. We were out with friends for dinner, first impressions really liked the look of the restaurant when we walked in we were really happy with where we were seated, then it started going downhill from there I was so very disappointed in the lack of service ! We waited so long before anyone came and took our drinks order then to actually bring them and then also to swap out our wine glasses to flutes for our champagne, they finally arrived we ordered our food then that arrived and it was very nice and we enjoyed it, again I had to go up and ask for our rice to be brought to our table and by then our meals were cold .. I spoke to the young girls and said I was really disappointed in the service to our table most of us that could eat our meal with out rice did but for those of us that were waiting for the rice had to wait to be able to have the rice with our meal.. Great food, however got to the counter and was charged SIXTEEN DOLLARS for a bowl of extra rice. It does say on the menu that extra rice is $4, however they then said that one bigger bowl (maybe a litres worth?) equates to four $4 portions. This was not made clear when ordering. When I questioned this they said that ‘staff are new and we are very busy so they forgot to tell you.’ When I asked for a partial refund they said because the system is new they can’t give a refund but can give credit for next time (they couldn’t give me a voucher, instead took name and number on a scrap bit of paper). I said regardless of if the staff forgot to tell me, in what world is a litre of cooked rice worth $16 dollars. Probably cost $0.20.
