Review of Macheno Expresso in Wigram
If you're looking for a caffeinated oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of a commercial industrial area, look no further than Macheno Expresso in Wigram. I recently had the pleasure of conducting a meeting there, and it was a delightful experience. Here's the lowdown:
Highlights: Top-Notch Coffee: As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I can vouch for their excellent brew. Smooth, rich, and just the right kick to keep you alert for any meeting. Sunny and Warm: We snagged a private corner drenched in sunshine, making the already warm and inviting ambiance even more pleasant. A perfect spot for brainstorming or just soaking in some rays. Quiet Environment: Despite its location in a slightly commercial industrial area, the cafe managed to maintain a serene and quiet atmosphere. Ideal for discussions without the need to shout over background noise. Great for Meetings: The setting was just right for a professional meet-up. The combination of privacy and comfort made it an excellent choice for client meetings.
Bonus Points: Ambiance: The interior strikes a balance between cozy and modern, making it a place you'd want to return to. Service: Friendly staff who seem to understand the art of making a great coffee and providing a pleasant experience without being intrusive.
In summary, Macheno Expresso is a hidden treasure in an unlikely spot. Whether you're there for a business meeting or just to enjoy a quality cup of coffee, it's well worth the visit. I'll definitely be back for another round of both business...
Read moreHave been coming here for years but the quality and range of offerings have definately gone downhill. I ordered Mince and Cheese which looked home made as well as a banana smoothie. My companion ordered the quiche and an orngne juice. These were dine in. Both were served with no garnish whatsoever and about a thimble of basic tomato sauce. Wouldnt be to bad if I had paid $6-8 each but these were $10.50 and the pie was bland and barely warm. My smoothie was perhaps half a banana, with some room temperature milk and no ice. All up it was $36.50 for a very average meal. Also most of the items on the lunch menu on their website are not available. Its basically breakfast food and nothing else. Will be the last...
Read moreHonestly not the best cafe experience I've had. Mostly disappointed by the salmon bagel I ordered, there was barely a lick of salmon in the bagel & all fillings were pushed to the front & bread tasted stale even after getting it toasted. Ordered eat in and was given taken away container for partners iced latte and the tomato? sauce that was served with a salmon bagel? Odd choice from the chefs there. Stoked the tea was loose-leaf tea and not teabag tea & the iced latte had a good amount of caramel. Ladies behind counter were absolutely lovely and their service was great. Really just super let down by the state of that bagel. Seems like a pleasant...
