March 2022 - the food is still delicious and good with consistent taste. Fantastic service too. However, the salmon is a bit smaller compared to other restaurants that serve up salmon dish (look at the photo that I taken). I only hope it is only one off and it should be double or at least 1.5 time the size. Anyway, that's my opinion.

April 2019 - This is one of the restaurants located in Wigram. It is situated near the New World supermarket.
The dinner booking was made a few days before and we were glad we made the right choice. The place was packed and full of people around 6.30 pm.
Anyway, the place is well-lit and very cosy. It has a great laid-back atmosphere with reasonably comfortable seating. We walked in and were greeted by the staff. We told them our booking (just need to mention your name) and they took us to our table which faces the staircase. The place was warm, and you don’t need to wear the jacket inside. The staff were friendly and the waitress that served us was very helpful and made a couple of suggestions on what to order (this is my first time to this restaurant). There are two different menus; one for food, and one for drinks. They also have the specials which are not in the menu; in this case, the pan-fried salmon and venison.
We ordered the garlic bread with jalapeno, one Mustang pizza, one salmon and one venison (medium). The dishes were fantastic, tasty and flavoursome. We were impressed with the garlic bread; we thought it was the normal style garlic bread but it turned out to look like a pizza!!! The taste was rich and flavoursome, and I 100% recommend to try it. The Mustang pizza was to die for [too]; cheesy, chunky diced chicken and…. Yummy. As for the salmon itself was ok; fresh and cooked well. The cooked salmon [fillet] does not have any flavour (it doesn’t seems to be marinated beforehand) and need to mix with the sauces to enhance the flavour. I didn’t try the venison and therefore, I can’t really comment about the taste. The plating/ presentation itself was impressive.
Child-friendly restaurant.
This is a licensed eatery and you can order the drinks 🍻🍸🍷🍾🍹🍺. There is a small outdoor area but not for dining, only for smokers and drinking.
There are plenty of parking spaces and also street parking 🅿.
They accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments (with PayWave), for those who want to know.
Would I go back? Yes. 😏 Would I recommend? Yes. 😊 Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. We all enjoyed all the dishes. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Great atmosphere with a warm and welcoming feel. Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5. The dishes and drinks are...
Read moreI visited with my family and 14 month old son for a quick glass of wine. We've never been before so didn't know if it was kid friendly or not. When we arrived we were taken to the bar where the friendly staff asked if we wanted a high chair and we accepted. I checked the food area and saw that there maybe a table free. I asked one of the staff (the one with curly hair), who I presume to be the manager, if we could sit there (it was a bit cheeky as we werent eating, but it seemed a quiet part of the pub and therefore more suitable for us with a toddler) and she said it was reserved and ushered me to the bar. The fact that it was reserved was understandable, but she used her hands to usher me to the bar. I kid you not. She said that there was a table free in the corner. I noticed this was a high table and me (presuming that the high chair that we were going to be given was one of those that push to the table) asked if we could sit at a lower table by the bar. She said it would be 'easier for them if we sat in the corner' oh and the seats are 'comfy' there. It's really hard as a parent (as all parents will know) to get yourself and your child out of the house. It's a big deal. So feeling like you're a nuissance isn't the experience you want or need. The lady who had directed us to sit in the corner did come and put the high chair up for us which was kind, and thankfully it wasn't one of those chairs you push to the table! All in all though, a...
Read moreGood Home Wigram Dinner booked for 7:30 , table not ready till 8:15 , excuse was the chef was late. Told to buy drinks and sit outside ( weather average). Meal ordered quickly once seated but didn’t arrive till after 9pm , excuse the one stone grill meal was delayed due to trouble heating the stone . All meals came out together but we’re just warm enough to eat ( obviously sat while the stone was heated). Staff- 1st member was pleasant and did try to help with free breads and did keep us informed, 2nd staff member was abrupt, short and unwilling to help or listen…. 21st going on upstairs so noise levels were extremely high and that made talking to friends at our table difficult….. not impressed!!
Thanks for your reply, we know exactly where we were ( we are not stupid , but thanks) and it was your staff that made the comment that the “ stone grill “ was not heating… well unless all 9 of us have trouble understanding English…..!!! Also the late chief excuse was used on more than one occasion that night. We find you reply ignorant & arrogant . If you check the date of our review on that Saturday evening you had a 21st upstairs ( just to confirm we WERE at your restaurant). We will NOT remove this review or revisit/ recommend your restaurant...
