Came in here to have a meal and few drinks. The duty manager on brought out our pizzas which were clearly brunt then to push his fingers into the pizza then to try argue that it wasn’t. He then took the pizza back to get us a new one and came up and told us after our meals and drinks we are Barr because of complaining about the brunt pizza and him putting his fingers into the meal.. we then went and asked for a refund for the meals as we didn’t want to put money into a place that was going to treat us with the disrespect he did when it was the reponsabilty of the business. After then confronting him asking for a refund he got the chef to come out and say that they wash there hands all the time which is fine for kitchen staff but as this worker was working front of house not kitchen handing cash we didn’t fine that excuse valid. Very bad service...

Woman who I spoke to was friendly. Stayed a night after dreadful experience at Cromwell Backpackers. Incredibly overpriced for two people in a two bed room. Showers were fine but the toilets had no sink to wash hands, no where to brush teeth - totally bizarre. We ended up washing hands and doing teeth in the shower!! Woman said there was kitchen to make coffee etc - luckily there was some water in the electric jug because you guessed it - no sink!!! Wasn't game to try to fill jug in shower. There was one cup but it had a crack in it - used it for a drink of water from the shower not realising it leaked. Luckily I had my own cup in the car for a breakfast coffee. The lack of sink/basins was totally bizarre and something I have never encountered before. I hope they have basins in the pub/restaurant part...

Went out for tea tonight for my birthday, ordered the meat lovers pizza as I had it a few nights ago and it was really nice, full of ham and chorizo saucey and cheesey! Tonight I asked for NO mushroom, came with mushrooms on it and literally one piece of chorizo per slice with some cheese.. so I told them I’d like a new pizza with NO mushroom this time.. it came back I assume the same pizza and still had a few mushrooms on it like they’d literally picked them off and sent it back out! Took it to counter and said I don’t even want a pizza now! What if I was allergic to mushrooms!?!?! And I’m pregnant!! Lazy and every...

This was an experience staying here. The room itself was serviceable. I think we are not the typical clientele. Included in the very reasonable priced double room was dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch. An interesting design feature was the fan - great on a hot day - but the cord was not sufficiently long to reach the plug. Such cruelty. The shower was powerful. More sinks would have been good.

Super accommodating establishment, the lovely lady created a traffic light jug for us along with fairly decent pub food. Menu is budget friendly compared to other places in cromwell, great for families. Karaoke on Thursdays. Plenty parking and space, pool table. Outdoor area, pokies and toy crane. Worth visiting again!

A great little pub, the brilliant choice of mostly 70s music plus the old stone and wood add to the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are reasonably priced. There's a pool table and open fire. There's also a games room and TAB machine, but thankfully, these are tucked away!
