After being a favourite stop before going over the hill it has declined and recently more so. A month ago they had no fish bites (my favourite) so I got a fish and my second favourite a spring roll. Fish okay spring rolls was so greasy the fat or oil dripped down my hand and clothes when I bit into it. But considering the standard of tonight's fish bites I should have saved myself the stop. They are nothing like they were 3 to 6 months ago. They used to be a lovely bit of fish with a light crunchy batter tonight they were a gluggy mess of gooey batter and spot the fish. About a month ago we had a really bad experience here. My partner picked up my phone order on his way home from work. We were very disappointed with our food, it was dry and hard to chew (very cardboard like, yuk!) after a couple of bites we decided to ring up and complain. The lady on the phone was really nice and we were able to have the same order recooked for us the next day. The next day we went in to receive a bunch of what felt like subtle abuse from the owner how her food is never bad, like My family was in the wrong for not liking her food . The place needs to be cleaned they don't cook your order together they actually cooked part of my order frist left it sitting there an was waiting for the rest of my order for about 5-7 Minutes then they unwrapped my parcel while it was sitting there obviously to check that they hadn't forgotten anything else an wrapped it back up then waited for the rest of my order then reopened my parcel an put the rest of my order in the parcel an gave it to me an we have not been back. I don't think they should be opening your parcel once it has been wrapped an I think they should cook your order...
