The Kitchen — Restaurant in Gisborne

Home for the holidays and I've visited many of the cafes in Gizzy. I am a fierce critic because I expect NOTHING but the best. This is by far the best cafe for me. Excellent coffee prepared and served to the highest quality, I observed!! Delicious fresh healthy food. I saw and I demolished the most moist, light and fragrant DELICIOUS orange and cream cheese muffin. THANK YOU LOVELY LADIES you know who you are. Today Tuesday 17th of may I went to “the kitchen” and purchased a bacon bagel and a meat pizza. When I went to eat it there was a fly sitting right in the middle of the layers of the bagel. I feel disgusted and horrified that this thing could have entered my mouth. If I had seen this when I was at the shop I would have complained so bad. I miss old management. Just got s mince & cheese pie from here today, at 12pm was disgusting, pastery over cooked, burnt in areas, plus hard. Had no cheese in the pie, and mince tasted dry and old. The whole pie was looking and tasted like it was few weeks old. Will never buy pie or anything from this place again, complete waste of my money. Ended throwing the pie into the bin after one bite.
