That Hangi Place — Restaurant in North Island

As I’m a Jaffa I don’t come to gizzy that often , but as it’s my old man’s home town I thought to myself , why not give that hangi place a try . When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady that was happy to take my order . I ordered the seafood chowder as well as 1 piece of fried bread . When I checked my order in the car I was surprised to see that the lady had given me an extra piece of fried bread . I was so so happy and was very grateful. Partner got us 2 x hangi for dinner which is a weekly thing for us. But last night our hangis were disappointing. Old vegetables everything was brown including my cabbage and my pumpkin smelt like piss not pumpkin lol.

Literally so shocked because we always get kai from here but will not be returning!

If both of our hangis were the same, no doubt 50 others would have also been rotten. Almost like they were recooked old hangis because the meat was juicy but hard!

Tastes like sht compared to what it used to be. SLACK. 1 hour after opening and there is only 4 reheated options to choose from and none of them tasted any good. They don't answer their phones, they don't reply to messages. Bullsht. Never returning here or recommending.
