New Delhi Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamilton

This is one of those place you can feel very confident about taking people to - friends, family, the boss even prospective dates ... there's never any need to wonder if the chef might have an 'off night' as in my experience (and I've been visiting for several years now) he never does!

All of the food is freshly cooked, authentic to the Indian traditions and the portions are generous. the sizzling platter for two (served as a starter) is delicious and my personal favourite main course has to be the Chetinadu dishes - a wonderful recipe that I've rarely seen elsewhere and never seen equalled.

If you haven't ever tried Peshwary Naan as an accompaniment then you have a treat coming to you ... it's stuffed full of fruit and nuts and ... just try it, you'll love it !

The restaurant also offers a take out service and the Lunch Time Specials have to be the bargain of the year!

A lot of people seem to get hung up about dining in Hamilton CBD ... to them I'd say New Delhi is the equal of anything in the city and the parking is a whole...

Two dear Friends and I shared a very enjoyable Dining experience at the New Deli Indian Restaurant situated at Dinsdale. (Near Countdown.) We were seated by a delightful Waitress who was pleasant, obliging and very professional. Spoiled for choice with an array of dishes to chose from a very extensive and varied Menu. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered from Onion Baji Entree's,mouth watering Shrimp, Lamb and Beef Mains. Cheese stuffed Naan was delicious too Unfortunately, no room to try Dessert. Perhaps next time. Many thanks and our kindest regards to the lovely Staff for such excellent food and Service.😊 Yours...

Ugliest Vegetarian food I have ever eat in my life. I would prefer to stay hungry rather then having this place food. Ordered Kadai Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Naan and Roti worth $29 but didn't even eat food worth $9. Would never ever recommended this place for sure. I am still in shock !!!!!

Answer to owners response - Tell me why should I lie, I come from Auckland for holidays and now you are asking me for a proof I can scan my bank statement paid by eftpos on 04/04/15 evening....do you have facebook page???? I will upload my statement....but please there is no way I will come to your restaurant not even...
