Weave Eatery — Restaurant in Hamilton

I was meeting with a friend for lunch because is was his birthday. I was half and hour late because I could not find the place. The signs (or lack there of) are appalling. There is almost nothing to let me know where to go or park my car. After taking a wild guess I park my car and walked in a random direction. I saw a small sign with the name of the place and an arrow showing me what way to go. Turns out the arrow was pointing in the wrong direction and I got lost. I eventually had to phone my friend so he could come outside and find me. To only add to my dissatisfaction was the extremely bizarre menu. There was not a single "normal" looking meal I could order. Even the burger was full of odd ingredients. The burger was okay to eat, nothing wrong with it just a little strange and slightly undercooked. The only redeeming factor was... oh wait, there isn't one. This place needs some major adjustments and a sign at least telling me where to go. Would not recommend. 2 minute noodles would...

We recently held a 3-day training course for 20 delegates at Waikato Innovation Park where Weave Eatery managed all of our break and lunch catering needs. Sam was great to work with, providing top food selection ideas, coordinating his team in their delivery and managing the inevitable planning issues at the time of the Omicron pandemic. Our requirements were not straight forward - we had hot beverage and food selection services in the training room morning and afternoon and his crew delivered faultlessly and with a smile. Lunches were set up in the main assembly area and were ideal for our group. And did we mention the food?! - Yum with great variety, mix of cuisines and catering for individuals dietary needs. Interesting place in that it is not well signposted Car parking is weird and disorganised but that’s beyond the control of the restaurant

The menu on the day we went was quirky and perhaps a bit too unconventional for my taste. I couldn’t find anything normal to eat I ordered something which was edible but not pleasurable to eat. It involved eggs. The portions were nouveau cuisine style and I wasn’t sure exactly what I was eating.
