Best Burgers — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

Hubby nd I had been taken here as a treat from our Nephew, who had heard that they were good! Well the Burger's weren't good at all... They were FREAKIN FANTABULOUS! At first glance my Cheese Burger looked plain ND simple. I took a bite ND it was anything but simple. It was delicious! The Bun was soft, the burger it's self was #1 BIGGER then the bun, nd it seemed like it was an actual steak that was tenderized to the max, seasoned, ND then cooked to perfection! SO FLOOPIN DELICIOUS! My mouth is watering jst thinking abt it at this very moment! In total, we ordered a total of 4Burgers, all different, one guy working both front ND back, ND we got our Burger's faster than then The drive thru at McD's, B Kings,... ND they hav pre cooked patties sitting under warmers ND such. The young fella was Awesome! Not only would I give them A++ but I would go as far as adding 10⭐'s to it for a Proper rating! Highly recommend this...

We are serious burger lovers and this was a seriously good burger.

We had the veggie burger which had everything we needed in it. every component was cooked perfectly!! the bun was perfectly toasted, the lettuce was fresh and shredded which made for easy eating, the patty was crispy but not dry and the sauces were outstanding. The burgers left us feeling full, without the oily saturated fat flavour.

The milkshakes were old school milkshakes!! Thick and creamy with a full on chocolate flavour.

The presentation was fantastic, the atmosphere in the resturant was simple and well put together.

The fact that the food it house made really sets it apart from other places, and gives it is own feel.

Limited menu. I ordered a supreme cheese, fries, and a chocolate milk shake. The burger was mid. Possibly the smallest patty i have ever had in a burger. The bun appeared to be something equivalent of a Pam's bun purchased from the supermarket. Frankly I've had better burgers from McDonalds. Fries appeared to be the equivalent of a crinkle cut McCains, very reminiscent of a supermarket oven chip. They were cooked perfectly, crispy and fresh. The shake was very disappointing. Chocolate flavoured Nesquik, it would be hard to tell the difference, if there was one. Overall i think a more accurate business name would be below average burger or minimal effort burger.
