BurgerFuel Hastings — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

The best tasting burgers for me (the Pulled Beef is a must try! - Limited Edition). Despite the mediocre service I've received multiple times, I just brush it off. Well, we only have one BurgerFuel here in Hastings anyway.

Sadly, every time I order online, I end up waiting for more than 10 mins as they have either just started cooking or not even midway the order at the time of the pickup. Which can be frustrating when the spare time I have is just to head out work and pick up.

Customer Service can be better. You get a mix of staff smiling and some with frown on their faces. The last few times we dined in, the burgers were just placed on the table and we needed to check which one was which by opening the top bun.

They have free parking spots and on the street as well, which is not bad, but just a few metres away from a busy roundabout, so park and exit...

The burgers were a bit too saucy, had the burnout and kids cheeseburgers The kids found them hard to eat, but they were nice and well made otherwise. Great friendly service Food took about 15 mins during the busy lunchtime period. Ordered for takeaway, thickshake came out straight away and was warm by the time the food came out, which was very late. Burger patties were charred and burnt, leaving a bad taste after every bite - and food was cold which is ironic seeing as it was overcooked.
