Spice Traders — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

If I could give zero I would. Our family went to eat there and one of us was eating food from another shop. The girl at the counter made a huge deal saying the one family had to leave and couldn’t eat with our family while everyone else could stay and eat. Her logic was so stupid saying that sushi won’t let their customers eat there so they can’t let their customers eat in their store. Despite the fact 5 of our family members were planning to buy food to dine in, they still didn’t allow for the one family member to stay. The chef behind the girl looked at her like her logic was silly and didn’t seem like he backed her up but he didn’t say anything. After a lengthy discussion, the girl finally gave in but by then our family was put off and annoyed at how stupid her logic was so we all left. Worst customer service ever and that girl was the worst of the worst. One family member had already purchased food and he said it wasn’t even nice so wasn’t even worth all the trouble we had trying to sit as a family to eat lunch. Don’t go here. Save your money and support someone else’s business instead of this girl on...

I had being there yesterday and this was for the 5th time I believe they have told me no for dine in at 5:30pm this is since more than 2 months they have told no for dine in due to shortage of staff but yesterday there were 3 couples having dine in when I asked for it. The girl who was on the counter was being so rude. She thinks it’s her owned restaurant never greetings are with a smile. It seems like they are pressurised to work there. Restaurant is also always dirty with plates left on table for ages. No one would ever answer you calls if you call the store not because they are busy just they don’t wish to answer customers calls . It’s really a rude behaviour and bad hospitality service ever I have seen. Never gonna go back there to see their worst behaviour...

I don’t really write reviews for and company but I have to write this time as I had enough from these two Indian girls always have attitude problem never seen smile on their face and never willing to work. These girls just wanna stand there talk and don’t wanna do hard work. That girls need to change the job if they can’t give service. We have been coming to spice traders from long time and it will be our last time now it was a bad let down😡😡These girls have always refused us for dine in but they take dine in for others customers and we feel like they have personal issues with us. Indian guy who use to work there was really good and he greets customers very nicely but these two indian girls give pathetic and horrible service. NEVER COMING...
