Kohinoor Indian Restaurant Henderson — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

This is my favorite Indan restaurant in all of West Auckland. Price is very competitive. Portion sizes are good Taste is amazing, you can't really go wrong. Even the vegetarian curries are to die for.

We survived the first lockdown by buying 8x curries for Kohinoor and freezing them, having one a week. Garlic cheese Naan is excellent as others have mentioned. Butter paneer curry is great too.

Dine in experience was less impressive as we had to ask the waitress twice for obvious things such as water and additional glasses, she did come by the table fairly...

Did a big order last Valentine’s Day, spent over $100. There were three people that ordered ahead of us and only two staff preparing that day. The family had bad stomach aches the day after. The korma wasn’t spicy which we ordered medium and hubby noticed that the chicken still rubbery and when checked wasn’t cooked properly. Sadly I think our order was rushed that day. They were always been good in preparing our orders. But we still love going to this place. The curries are delicious. Maybe they were just overwhelmed with the orders. I think they need more staff...

Having lived in India for a few months. I got to try really yummy authentic Indian food this place has been my mums fave for years. This is my new go to now!! The food is so authentic and made with love you can tell with every mouthful! Everything we ordered was exceptional. The owner was lovely and we chatted about many things. He was also very kind to my 4 year old son which I adore. We were able to relax and enjoy our meals and go home completely satisfied ate the lot and took...
